I am a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed healing arts practitioner, offering telehealth services to clients across the state. My journey in this field began in 2003 in Mexico supporting people, then in 2016, I became an addiction clinician in North Carolina. After relocating to California in 2019, I have focused on deepening my understanding of addiction, including drug and alcohol use, dual diagnosis, and personality disorders. I believe that everyone faces challenges at some point in their lives, and I am here to support you through yours. My mission is to create a safe and compassionate space where you can confidently explore your experiences and feelings. I am committed to continually expanding my knowledge and skills to provide you with exceptional support. It would be an honor to accompany you on your healing journey.
In our first session, my main objective is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel comfortable connecting. I truly want to understand your unique journey and what brings you here. I will ask questions to learn more about you, but I am equally here to listen to your thoughts and feelings with compassion. I recognize that everyone’s path is different, and it’s important for me to understand what resonates with you. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your healing journey, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.
I take great pride in my unique background, which has shaped my strengths as a therapist. My journey began in Guadalajara, Mexico, where I was born and raised. Driven by a deep desire to help others, I pursued a degree in Psychology. Supporting individuals through their struggles has always been at the heart of my work, as I understand the profound impact that compassion can have during difficult times. As a bilingual woman who immigrated to this beautiful country and married a veteran, I truly empathize with the challenges that accompany life transitions. My own experiences have provided me with valuable insight and resilience, enabling me to approach change with understanding and confidence. I later earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, graduating with honors. Since then, I have dedicated myself to being a therapist, continuously seeking further education to refine my skills and provide the best support for my clients. I believe that my personal and professional experiences uniquely position me to understand the nature of transitions. I am committed to helping each person realize that they have the strength to overcome any obstacles life presents. Together, we can explore the skills and tools necessary to navigate challenging times and work toward becoming the best version of ourselves. I am here to support you in creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.
I specialize in individual therapy and do not offer couples therapy. My clients are highly motivated to enhance their well-being, and I have extensive experience in supporting individuals who want to overcome addiction and improve their mental health. If you're ready to commit to your growth, I am here to provide the guidance and support you need on your journey.
