I am a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed healing arts practitioner, offering telehealth services to clients across the state. My journey in this field began in 2003 in Mexico, and in 2016, I became an addiction clinician in North Carolina. After relocating to California in 2019, I have focused on deepening my understanding of addiction, including drug and alcohol use, dual diagnosis, and personality disorders. I genuinely believe that everyone faces challenges at some point in their lives, and I am here to support you through yours. My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your experiences and feelings. I am committed to continually growing in my knowledge and skills so that I can be the best support possible for you. It would be a privilege to accompany you on your healing journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, my primary goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for us to connect. I want to take the time to get to know you and understand your unique journey. I will ask questions to learn more about you and what brings you here, but I'm also here to listen to your thoughts and feelings. I recognize that everyone has their own path, and it’s important for me to understand what works best for you. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you on your healing journey, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths are rooted in my unique background, which I am proud to share. My journey as a therapist began in Guadalajara, Mexico, where I was born and raised. I pursued a degree in Psychology driven by a strong desire to help others. Supporting people, especially in their toughest times, has always been a core part of who I am. As a bilingual woman who immigrated to this wonderful country and married a veteran, I have a profound understanding of the challenges that come with transitions. These experiences have equipped me with the insight and resilience to navigate change confidently. I later earned a master's degree in social work from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, graduating with honors. I’ve been a therapist since then, and I am committed to ongoing education to enhance my skills and better serve my clients in an ever-evolving world. My personal and professional experiences are my greatest strengths, providing me with a deep understanding of the nature of transitions. I firmly believe that we can overcome any obstacles life presents. Each of us has the potential to learn the skills and tools necessary to become the best version of ourselves, even in the face of adversity. Together, we can create a better and more balanced life.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in individual therapy and do not offer couples therapy. My clients are highly motivated to enhance their well-being, and I have extensive experience in supporting individuals who want to overcome addiction and improve their mental health. If you're ready to commit to your growth, I am here to provide the guidance and support you need on your journey.
