(she/her)
Welcome, I'm Anna. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a therapist, I bring a calm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental presence to the work I do with my clients. I believe that each person’s story is unique, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, challenges, and strengths. I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, and I tailor my approach to meet each client’s individual needs. My therapeutic style is collaborative and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, family systems, and solution-focused techniques. I also bring a deep respect for cultural values and practices into my work, ensuring therapy is inclusive, relevant, and meaningful. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families who are navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. My ideal clients are those who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, but are open to support, growth, and discovering new ways forward.
The first session is all about getting to know each other and creating a comfortable space where you feel safe and supported. I know starting therapy can feel a little nerve-wracking, especially if it’s your first time or if you're beginning again after a challenging experience. My goal is to meet you with compassion, curiosity, and zero judgment. We’ll start by talking about what brought you in, what you’re hoping to work on, and anything you feel comfortable sharing about your background or current challenges. I’ll also ask some general questions to get a better understanding of your story, your strengths, and your goals. You’re always welcome to move at your own pace—there’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. I view our work as a partnership, and from day one, I want you to feel heard, respected, and in control of your process. We’ll also cover a few practical aspects, including confidentiality, session structure, and address any questions you may have about therapy. By the end of our first session, we’ll discuss what you’d like to focus on moving forward and begin to map out a path together that aligns with your needs and values.
As a clinical therapist, my strengths lie in empathic attunement, keen clinical insight, and flexible responsiveness, which enable me to build deep therapeutic rapport, conceptualize cases with clarity, and tailor interventions across various modalities, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. I’m recognized for my clear, compassionate communication, maintaining ethical integrity and commitment to lifelong learning, and fostering a culturally humble and inclusive therapeutic environment.
I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families who are navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. My ideal clients are those who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, but are open to support, growth, and discovering new ways forward. I especially enjoy supporting individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, family conflict, or difficulty managing emotions. I also work closely with survivors of domestic violence, helping them regain a sense of safety, empowerment, and healing. For couples and families, I help improve communication, rebuild trust, and foster a stronger emotional connection. I believe in the importance of taking the necessary steps—no matter how small—to create the life you want to live. Sometimes this means finding new ways of thinking, relating, or simply being in the world. Together, we can explore alternative paths, break free from old patterns, and move toward a more fulfilling and empowered life. In our work together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you. Whether you’re looking to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, improve your relationships, manage challenging emotions, or navigate a life transition, I’ll support you in developing insight, building skills, and creating lasting, positive change. My journey into this field began with a deep desire to help others feel seen, heard, and capable of healing. Over time, that passion has only grown stronger. It’s a true privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate challenges and move toward growth, resilience, and self-discovery. I have experience supporting a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship struggles, disruptive behaviors, and significant life transitions. I also work closely with survivors of domestic violence, providing a safe, empowering space to heal and rebuild. My hope is to support you in reaching your highest level of emotional well-being—on your terms, at your pace, and with care and collaboration every step of the way.
