LCSW, 13 years of experience
New to Grow
As your therapist, my role is to create a safe, supportive space, where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgement. Together, we will work toward understanding the challenges you are facing and developing tools that empower you to cope, heal, and grow. Therapy can help you gain new perspectives, improve relationships, build resilience, and make meaningful changes in your life. My goal is to walk alongside you in this process so you feel heard, supported, and capable of creating the life you want to live.
First we will discuss your goals for therapy and introduce you to who I am as a therapist.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist comes from my own life experiences, which have shaped me into the resilient woman I am today. I understand firsthand how challenges can impact us, but also how growth and healing are possible. Professionally, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, each with unique stories and needs. This has given me the ability to meet people where they are and provide support that is compassionate, understanding, and tailored to them.
Welcome! I'm Moriah Frailey. Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life. Counseling can foster personal development in whatever way you may be seeking and help build the life you so deeply deserve. If that's what you're looking for, I'm here when you're ready to share.
I believe no single therapy works for everyone. By using an eclectic model, I am able to integrate strategies from multiple frameworks to serve each client's individual needs.
By using Psychodynamic therapy tools, I will focus on helping you understand how past experiences affect the way you think, feel, and act today. In therapy, we will look at reoccurring themes in your life and help you gain , feel more control of our choices, and create change.
In therapy, being trauma-informed mean I will always work to make sure you feel safe, respected, and in control of the process. We'll go at your pace, and you will have choices in how we approach your healing. The goal is to build trust, help you recognize your strengths, and help you support your recovery without reopening wounds in harmful ways.
