I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of clinical experience helping individuals navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and nurse burnout. Through compassionate, evidence-based care, I provide medication management and supportive therapy to help clients regain balance, clarity, and emotional well-being. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals feel heard, understood, and support each person in healing, growing, and building a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, authentic and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I currently offer telehealth services and am accepting new clients in Georgia and Arizona with no waitlist, including evening and weekend appointments to accommodate busy schedules.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. During this telehealth visit, we will discuss what brings you to treatment, your current concerns, and any symptoms you may be experiencing. I will also ask about your personal history, lifestyle, and previous mental health treatment to better understand your needs. Together, we will begin identifying goals for your care and discuss possible treatment options, which may include therapy approaches, coping strategies, and medication management if appropriate. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and hopeful about your path toward healing and wellness. **Please note, I do not currently prescribe stimulants or benzodiazepines**
My approach to mental health care is shaped by more than 12 years of clinical experience and my background as a critical care nurse. Working in high-intensity healthcare environments gave me a deep understanding of how stress, trauma, burnout, and emotional exhaustion affect both the mind and body. This experience allows me to connect with clients in a compassionate and practical way, especially healthcare professionals who often feel overwhelmed while caring for others. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I combine evidence-based medication management with therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and supportive therapy. My goal is not just to treat symptoms of depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, but to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. Clients often appreciate my warm, down-to-earth style and the safe, nonjudgmental space I create in our sessions. I believe healing happens when people feel truly heard and understood. Through our work together, I focus on helping you regain balance, restore confidence, and reconnect with your authentic self so you can move forward with greater clarity and purpose.
I am best positioned to support adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life stressors, and professional burnout—especially healthcare professionals and nurses who may feel emotionally exhausted or overwhelmed. Many of my clients are individuals who feel stuck, disconnected from themselves, or are navigating difficult life transitions and want to regain a sense of balance and clarity. I work well with people who are open to self-reflection, personal growth, and learning practical tools to improve their mental and emotional well-being. Together, we focus on helping you better understand your thoughts and emotions, build healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with your authentic self so you can live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my telehealth sessions, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns that may contribute to anxiety, depression, or stress and work on reframing them into healthier, more balanced thoughts. I also provide practical strategies and coping skills that clients can apply in their daily lives. This structured and collaborative approach helps clients develop tools to manage symptoms and build long-term emotional resilience.
Humanistic
I incorporate humanistic therapy by creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship based on empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. This approach encourages clients to explore their feelings, strengths, and personal experiences while developing greater self-awareness and self-acceptance. My goal is to empower clients to reconnect with their true selves and make meaningful changes that support their emotional well-being.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Through mindfulness-based therapy, I help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without judgment. This approach teaches clients how to stay present in the moment rather than becoming overwhelmed by worries about the past or future. Through guided mindfulness techniques, breathing exercises, and grounding strategies, clients learn how to manage stress, regulate emotions, and respond to challenges with greater clarity and calm. Mindfulness can be especially helpful for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, and high levels of stress, allowing them to develop healthier coping skills and a deeper sense of self-awareness.
