Leticia Christie
Welcome, my name is Leticia and I am a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. I have been working in psychiatry for about 17 years. I started out in substance abuse and then started working primarily in mental health. My ideal patient is someone who maybe feeling misunderstood, struggling with their mental health and living n silence. I am passionate about mental health and want to help guide you into being a better you.
First session
During our first session you can expect for me to listen to who you are, we can collaborate and work on a treatment plan that we both can agree on. I want us to develop trust and build a relationship with one another. My treatment plan comes from evidence based practices and experience.
Strengths
Mental health is important to me because I too understand how it feels to be alone, to suffer in silence out fear or judgement and being misunderstood. I listen but I am also honest, I want what's best for you, and I want to treat you based on research and successful outcomes. Healing is my super power but I can only do that with your trust, honesty, and commitment to yourself.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who knows they need help, someone who is open and ready to do the work to be successful, someone committed resilient and tired of suffering. You also have to be patient and trust that I I want what's best for you. You have to be willing to go through the hard days to get to the good days, and most importantly I want you to know and understand that nothing is perfect, but things can definitely get better.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use this treatment approach to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I believe treatment should be collaborative, so we’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing, identify your goals, and develop practical strategies that fit your life. My goal is to meet you where you are, without judgment, while helping you build the confidence and tools needed to create meaningful, lasting change.
