I'm so glad you're here! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a master’s degree from Howard University and a bachelor's degree from Clark Atlanta University. Over the past 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients in a variety of settings—including hospitals, colleges, outpatient clinics, and private practices. I specialize in working with women at all stages of life who seek a safe and nurturing environment to unpack struggles, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey to healing and growth.
During our initial session, I’ll take time to understand your reasons for seeking therapy and discuss your hopes for our work together. I’ll provide an overview of the process and answer any questions you might have. Together, we’ll establish goals that we’ll revisit periodically. Many clients find encouragement in seeing progress—no matter how small—and I believe you will, too!
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I am here to guide you toward positive change. With 18 years of experience as a therapist, I've worked closely and empathetically with clients to explore the underlying causes of current emotions and challenges. Together, we’ll work on practical coping strategies, where you can release what no longer serves you, overcome negative thought patterns, and gain the tools to build healthier boundaries and emotional healing so you can transition from feeling overwhelmed to empowered and serene.
My approach is rooted in creating a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges, reduce stress and move from simply getting by to truly thriving and finding peace. Many of the women I’ve worked with have spent their lives supporting others, often without space to share their own struggles. Therapy offers a place to do just that. I walk alongside you as we address challenges like depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, trauma, and life transitions. For those who wish, I’m also happy to incorporate Christian faith into our work together.

Our thoughts influence our feelings which in turn influences our behavior. This the foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy that I explore with each of my to clients. As unhelpful thinking patterns are identified and shifted, feelings and behaviors follow leading to healing and mental well-being.
Should you desire incorporating faith and Christian principles into our counseling sessions, I gladly include this in my therapeutic approach.
I have facilitated grief groups and offered individual therapy for those struggling with grief. I work with you to process loss and learn healthy ways to adapt to life while normalizing and educating about the grief journey.
I will take a collaborative approach with you and provide a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic space for growth and support.
You have a host of strength that can serve you well. I will work with you to identify your strengths and ways each strength can aid in overcoming life's challenges.
