Hi, I’m Domaz. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist in training, and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor ( Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing). I partner with clients by helping them look at the impossibilities of life as possibilities for growth and transformation. I work with individuals, families, and couples by developing an authentic, evidence-based therapeutic approach to therapy that works for clients.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, my goal is to gain a deep understanding of the presenting concerns by listening with intention—ensuring clients feel heard and understood. This session is not only about getting to know the client but also about determining if I am the right therapist for them. During our conversation, I create a space where clients can share their truth and explore both the spoken and unspoken aspects of their experiences. I also hope that this initial assessment fosters self-awareness and instills hope—reminding clients that no problem lasts forever, and healing is possible.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a faith-based clinician, my greatest strength is creating a safe, welcoming space where individuals, couples, and families can do the hard but transformative work of addressing their mental health. I work best with clients who are ready to grow—who are willing to explore their personal stories with honesty, courage, and purpose. With over 13 years of clinical experience, I draw from solution-focused, systemic, narrative, and cognitive-behavioral therapies to meet clients where they are and guide them toward meaningful change. I help clients navigate trauma, relational conflict, self-esteem challenges, stress, blended family dynamics, and more. I also specialize in working with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community, immigrants, and women at various life stages. Grounded in faith and a belief that no problem should last forever, I walk alongside my clients on their path to healing, clarity, and renewed hope.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have the honor and privilege of working with clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and spiritual backgrounds who are seeking help, clarity, understanding, and hope. My practice is a space where healing begins through collaboration, trust, and the willingness to do the work. I work with women who are on a journey to rediscover their true selves, reconnect with their inner voice, and reclaim their worth. I support men who are ready to confront and release childhood trauma rooted in painful or conflicting relationships. I also serve couples who want to set clear intentions for their partnership, strengthen communication, and rebuild emotional trust. I’m especially passionate about supporting mothers and daughters who are seeking to improve their relationship, break generational patterns, and nurture mutual respect and connection. I work with families who are open and willing to do the deep, transformative work needed to shift unhealthy dynamics and move toward wholeness and harmony. Every session is a sacred opportunity to walk alongside clients who are ready to heal, grow, and thrive—emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

My approach includes using faith-based therapy that allows clients to take a holistic approach throughout the therapeutic process. My ultimate approach is to be present with the client. I seek to identify an approach that aligns with the client and the present problems. My approach is based on my beliefs about how therapy should feel, but especially how it works. Based on this belief, I used evidence theories that include Solution-Focused Therapy, Collaborative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered, and Trauma-Focused approaches while implementing faith-based strategies to assist clients with challenges. My ultimate approach is to consistently be present with the client on their healing journey, which includes challenging clients to embrace the process so their true, authentic self can manifest.
