Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand—whether in relationships, stress, anxiety, or life transitions. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help clients explore the patterns in their relationships, emotions, and thinking so they can gain clarity and make meaningful changes. My approach is collaborative, warm, and practical. I integrate interpersonal, attachment-focused, cognitive behavioral, and solution-focused strategies to help clients better understand themselves, improve communication, and develop tools that support lasting growth. I work with adults navigating relationship challenges, recurring relationship patterns, anxiety, life transitions, and questions about identity or direction. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel understood while also gaining insight and strategies that help them move forward in their lives and relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background, and what you hope might feel different or better in your life. I may ask questions about relationships, life experiences, and patterns you’ve noticed, but there’s no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals for our work together and discuss what ongoing sessions might look like. Finding the right therapist is important, so our first session is also an opportunity for you to see if working together feels like a good fit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a strengths-based, insight-driven, and solution-oriented approach to therapy. Clients often come to me feeling stuck in repetitive patterns or relationship challenges — and together we work to increase awareness while building concrete tools for change. I prioritize creating a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, challenged, and supported in making meaningful progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who want to better understand themselves and the patterns that show up in their relationships, emotions, or decision-making. Many are navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, or recurring dynamics that leave them feeling stuck. They are often thoughtful and motivated to gain insight, improve communication, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Attachment-based work focuses on how early relationship experiences shape the way we connect with others and view ourselves. In therapy, I help clients explore patterns that may show up in romantic relationships, family dynamics, and friendships. By increasing awareness of attachment styles and emotional needs, clients can begin to develop healthier ways of relating, improve communication, and create more secure and satisfying relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop more balanced, realistic perspectives. CBT tools can help people manage anxiety, depression, and stress while building practical coping skills they can use in everyday life. I often integrate CBT with relational work to help clients improve both internal patterns and interpersonal dynamics.

Interpersonal

I use an interpersonal approach to help clients understand how their relationships, communication patterns, and life transitions impact their emotional well-being. In my practice, we explore current and past relationship dynamics to identify patterns that may be contributing to distress. I help clients build insight, improve communication, strengthen boundaries, and develop healthier ways of connecting with others. This approach is especially helpful when clients are navigating relationship conflict, life changes, or recurring patterns in partnerships, friendships, or family relationships.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify strengths, resources, and practical steps toward meaningful change. Rather than focusing primarily on problems, this approach helps clients clarify what they want to be different in their lives and build on what is already working. In sessions, I collaborate with clients to set clear goals, highlight existing strengths, and develop realistic strategies they can begin using right away. This method can be especially helpful for clients seeking forward-focused support and tangible progress.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy helps individuals understand the emotional patterns that drive conflict and disconnection in relationships. In my work, I guide clients in identifying underlying emotions and attachment needs that may be difficult to express. By slowing down interactions and creating a safe space to communicate more openly, clients can strengthen emotional bonds, reduce recurring conflicts, and build more secure, supportive relationships.
