Everyone needs to be seen, heard, and acknowledged. You found the courage to reach out; I can help. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and open. I work mostly with young women and meet my clients where they are and accept them unconditionally. My educational credentials include a master's in public health, a master's in health psychology/behavioral medicine, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. In addition, I am a certified school counselor. In our work together I use a variety of approaches to address your needs with anxiety, depression, religious trauma, work stress, parenting, and adjustment to challenging life situations and transitions. Together we will set goals for therapy and find ways to focus on your strengths, needs, and solutions to help you feel better. Seeking therapy support can take courage and the first step to getting better is to ask for help. I am here for you and want to invite you to connect with me to see if we are a good fit for your mental health journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

First of all, I want my clients to feel safe with me. At our intake meeting we will complete a psychosocial assessment to help me understand your needs and issues. The next step is to develop a treatment plan and set goals and desired outcomes for our work together. Think about our first appointment as a conversation with a purpose so we can get to know each other. I am looking forward to connecting with you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients tell me that I am patient, empathic, organized, reliable, and non-judgmental as a therapist. I have 18 years experience in education, 12 years as a counselor, and I am a LPC and certified Professional School Counselor in Texas.
