Congratulations! You are taking the first step in becoming a better version of yourself. I specialize in empowering children and adults who struggle with their brain health. I am here to walk alongside your journey and equip you with tools to help you live a more abundant life. My goal is to help each client identify their strengths and help each individual overcome feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, anger, or grief. I've helped clients gain a healthier perspective toward healing by equipping them with tools to overcome obstacles. I love being able to implement play therapy techniques for my clients aged 3-12, and using a wide variety of tools with adults to implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I specialize in individual counseling for children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss support, work stress, anger, interpersonal issues, and behavioral problems.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You can expect us to discuss your presenting problem in our first session. I will gather relevant history to get a better understanding of how to promote mental wellness for you. We will review psychoeducation, set goals for a treatment plan, and ease any anxiety you may have about therapy.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My primary theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for adolescents and adults. The CBT model allows us to identify your core beliefs, as well as how your thoughts impact your behaviors and emotions. CBT is used to help identify irrational thoughts, and learn to reshape our thinking process. I also specialize in play therapy for children and adolescents aged 3-12. Play is the natural communication method for children. Play therapy is used to provide a safe, consistent therapeutic environment where children can experience full acceptance, empathy, and understanding of how to process experiences and feelings through play.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients often thank me for being patient, kind, empathetic, non-judgmental, trustworthy, and a good listener. My hope is that you feel seen, empowered, and inspired to become the best version of yourself.
