Hello, and welcome. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 13 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate life's challenges. In addition to my work as a therapist, I also work as a high school counselor, which has given me extensive experience supporting individuals through academic, career, family, and personal transitions. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also gaining practical tools you can use in everyday life. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Together, we'll identify your strengths, build effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful goals that help you feel more confident, balanced, and fulfilled.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but my goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring the challenges, concerns, or goals that are most important to you. You'll have the opportunity to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and there is no pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we'll discuss your background, current stressors, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I'll also answer any questions you have about the process and begin identifying ways we can work together to help you feel better and move toward your goals. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical, and many clients leave the first session feeling relieved to have a plan and a safe space to begin their journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to balance compassion with practical problem-solving. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable talking with me because I create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment while also helping them develop concrete strategies they can use in everyday life. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard and understood, but also leave with new insights, skills, and tools to help you move forward. With over 13 years of experience in the mental health field and my work as both a therapist and high school counselor, I have supported individuals through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, relationship concerns, stress, and major life transitions. I tailor my approach to each client, recognizing that no two people have the same experiences or goals. My style is collaborative, approachable, and encouraging, and I strive to help clients build confidence, resilience, and lasting change both inside and outside of therapy.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, relationship challenges, grief, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are navigating changes related to school, college, careers, family relationships, parenting, or personal growth and are looking for practical tools to better manage emotions and daily stressors. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences and developing meaningful goals. Together, we focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, improving emotional well-being, and creating lasting positive change that extends beyond the therapy session.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps identify patterns of thinking and behavior that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, or other challenges. Together, we explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and develop practical tools to create meaningful change in daily life.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I help clients build on their existing strengths and focus on achievable goals. Rather than staying stuck in problems, we work together to identify practical steps that can help move you forward and create positive changes.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness helps clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical reactions without judgment. I teach simple techniques that can reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and increase confidence in managing difficult situations.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for growth. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their experiences, gain insight, and work toward their goals at their own pace.

Motivational Interviewing

When clients feel stuck, uncertain, or ambivalent about change, I use motivational interviewing techniques to help clarify goals, strengthen motivation, and build confidence in taking the next steps forward.
