Hello, my name is Doctor Andre Pierre Longino. I am glad you took the first step to improve your well-being, and I hope you find a provider to aid in this journey. One of the first steps towards this journey is recognizing that you require assistance, and if you are reading this or other providers' profiles, you are heading in the right direction. Change can be challenging but often necessary for growth and evolving into the ideal person you want to be. Providers such as myself can help facilitate this process by providing tools and skills to help transform yourself from who you are now to what your future can become. Together, we can identify strategies and skills that promote your vision for the future. We would use a holistic self-approach encompassing mind, body, and spirit that will break your current cycle of distress and put you on the right road towards your goals. About my professional background, I hold two master's degrees, one in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy and one in Clinical Psychology. Additionally, I completed my Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology. I am Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist with over eight years of experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds. I have expertise working with Severe and Persistent Mental Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression. I am honored to join you in your quest for discovery, growth, and transformation. Although seeking therapy can be scary and intimidating, you are still on the right path. You deserve a safe space that is supportive, positive, and healing. I meet you where you are with compassion and acceptance while using evidence-based treatment and techniques to challenge those habits or ideas that are holding you back. Welcome to Grow Therapy!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will start with brief introductions and a review of our confidentiality and privacy requirements. Afterward, we will dive into specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, my biggest strength is the rapport I develop with my clients. To assist my clients in their individual development, we must have trust and transparency to explore experiences that might be hurtful and difficult, as I may be the first or only person to know your experience. You are the writer of your life, and I, as your therapist, am the editor exploring the context and content to provide feedback on your novel. With our collaboration, your life becomes the masterpiece that you always wanted.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Oftentimes, we develop thought patterns over time from past experiences that are not useful and hinder our growth and goals. The purpose of CBT is to identify and examine these thoughts and how they serve to protect us but ultimately hold us back from becoming the person we want to be. In this, we collaborate on the goal and why our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors currently impact this journey. As a therapist, I have worked with various clients to facilitate this process. Although every person has unique experiences and challenges, with trust and safety within the therapeutic process, they can move towards becoming their ideal self.
