Hi, I’m a trauma-informed therapist here to help you heal and reclaim your strength. My approach is deeply holistic and intentional; I look at all realms of your life- physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional. As a self-proclaimed nervous system nerd, I'm always mindful of where your body is at, tracking the data your body sends us and move forward with what feels safe. With background in addiction treatment and international field experience, I am passionate about providing culturally informed care. Clients describe me as warm, authentic, and fond of using humor in session. I provide a grounded space to navigate life's heavy seasons so you can move from surviving to thriving.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Walking into a first therapy session takes immense courage, so my main priority is simply setting a comfortable, pressure-free pace. Think of this initial hour as a collaborative conversation where we will get to know one another, explore what brings you to therapy, and discuss your goals. We will map out a gentle, structured path forward together, ensuring you leave the session feeling heard, respected, and some insight as to what our work will look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach blends deep, trauma-informed clinical care with a warm, authentic, and down-to-earth human perspective. My specialized strengths include polyvagal work, mapping family of origin patterns, and gentle inner child healing to address the root causes of long-standing wounds. I don’t believe in rigid, one-size-fits-all treatments; instead, I meet you exactly where you are with a balance of compassionate directness and actionable tools. By honoring your mind-body connection and tracking your nervous system, my intention is to help you look at the whole picture of your well-being across physical, emotional, and spiritual realms. My strength lies in creating a safe, empowering container where you can process complex experiences without judgment, growth, and build towards your life worth living.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My practice is a culturally humble, and an affirming space. My practice history includes working with adults (18-65) across all walks of life, including men, women, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC clients. Having a deep clinical background in addiction and trauma treatment settings, I am positioned to help those who feel stuck in cycles of emotional overwhelm or old behavioral patterns. I look forward to helping you alleviate symptoms of trauma, and break free from having the past play a role in your present.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma informed care is the foundation of my practice. I blend traditional therapy with nervous system focused modalities such as Somatic Experience, and Safe and Sound Protocol to gently calm your nervous system, move past feelings of survival, and rebuild a deep felt sense of internal safety. My goal is move at a pace that feels safe for you. As I always like to say with my clients, I am the GPS providing directions and you are the driver. My practice is mindful to our therapeutic relationship, as co-regulation is the premise for providing corrective experiences warranted for your healing.

EMDR

As an EMDR-trained therapist, I use this evidence-based approach to help you process painful memories, anxiety, or negative self-beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. Note, the goal of EMDR is to help you alleviate symptoms associated with your trauma, and I do this in a safe and methodical way that honors you and your nervous system. We do this safely through bilateral stimulation that allow your brain to naturally heal. EMDR is a powerful tool for moving from intellectual understanding to true emotional relief. With a strong background

Psychodynamic

With a strong background in psychodynamic treatment settings, I help you look beneath the surface to understand how your past experiences and early relationships shape your current patterns. Because healing requires both deep insight and everyday tools, I integrate this reflective work with actional skills from CBT, and DBT to help create lasting change. Our past does not need to always play a role in our present.
