Hello, I am Anne Marie Bryant, I work with individuals, couples & children/teens to help them with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting, trauma, grief/loss, & stress. My background started as a social worker where I worked with children in the foster care system which led me to discover how important mental health is especially for children who felt broken due to the trauma and the many adverse childhood experiences they had and how counseling helped them to feel whole. I then pursued my Master's degree in Counseling to help individuals learn how to cope with their adversities and have the skills to continue their life’s journey.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
When a client makes that decision to engage in counseling sessions with me then we enter into a therapeutic alliance to help the person work through difficulties and move forward in the right direction that works for you.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
As a therapist, I use CBT techniques, Solution-focused, Client-Centered and a holistic approach to help the whole person to achieve their treatment goals.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My biggest strength is being there for the person and being able to see what the client's world is like and help navigate the person past the hurt and obstacles in their life.
