Hello, I am a LSCW-R, Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Long Island, NY. I specialize in Children, and Adolescents and their families. I have experience with DBT, CBT, and EMDR. a trauma-based treatment to help individuals reduce suffering and improve their lives. This has helped people with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Self-Harm behaviors and Trauma amongst other behavioral challenges and difficulties.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will do an intake to find out history of symptoms, any past counseling, what has worked and what has not, and goals to work on now. You will have the opportunity to ask me any questions as well.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Learning these skills can help manage your emotions, change your behavior and take control of your mind.

As a Christian and a counselor, I aim to help individuals overcome mental health challenges and help heal spiritually. You can feel empowered to strengthen your relationship with God and explore your faith to address life's hardest challenges.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy treats trauma and PTSD and other trauma related disorders. By engaging the brain in a similar way involved with REM sleep, distressing memories can be re processed so they are no longer overwhelming. it helps to association negative emotions until eventually the distressing memory dissolves.
