Hi! I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) based in California. I specialize in medication management for all mental health disorders. I have worked in a variety of settings, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, crisis stabilization units and outpatient treatment centers. My background provides me with the experience to handle patients who may be experiencing situations that are not common.
In our first session together we will speak about the specific challenges you are facing. Once I gain an understanding of your situation I will then discuss and with your assistance, create a treatment plan that we are both in agreement with.
I have worked in psychiatry for 15 years. As a provider, I listen and create a treatment plan that we are both in agreement with. I have also been told I have a wonderful bedside manner. I like working with my patients to improve their mental health.
I work with children ages 6 and up, adults and geriatrics.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Treatment is centered on stabilizing symptoms that impair the ability to function. Once stable patients are able to attend therapy and develop the necessary coping skill to handle stressors independent of medication.

Mr. Mitchell is an authentic person who is direct, intelligent, open-minded and solution oriented. W hat led me to choosing him is his warm and caring personality, his directness in telling me what and why he was doing such things as dosage adjustment or adding new meds. He's solution oriented in his desire to finding the right drugs that would be better use in handling my diagnosis. He is intelligent ,open-minded and listen to others with empathy. Highly recommend him to others!

I was bought to Mr. Marshall after being frustrated with my current provider. They used a non-traditional approach (TMS). After going there a substantial amount of months, I did not see any improvements in my symptoms. While talking with Mr. Marshall , I found him to be empowering; i.e., he let me know that he was willing to help me get back on track where I could sleep better and manage my medicine to the level it should be. My son,an Internist Medicine doctor agreed with his treatment plan
