Everyone needs support. Whether it’s finding your voice at work, setting boundaries with family or building self esteem- your goals are valid and it's okay to need support to achieve them. My name is Brittany and I provide a non- judgmental space for BIPOC individuals to set goals and process their past and current stressors to identify tools that they can use to feel successful in the future.
During our first session, our primary goal is to get to know you, not just the challenges you're facing. We'll start by exploring your background, what brings you to therapy, and most importantly, your personal strengths, passions, and what brings you joy. This isn't about ignoring difficulties; it's about understanding the full picture of who you are. We'll talk about times you've successfully overcome obstacles in the past and what resources you've already used. This collaborative conversation will help us create a positive and empowering foundation for the work we'll do together.
I specialize in mood disorders, identity formation, work related stress, relationships and life transitions.
I support young professionals as they navigate through imposter syndrome, identity exploration and relationships.
My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that you already have the inner resources and strengths to navigate life's challenges. Instead of focusing solely on what's "wrong," we'll work together to identify and build upon your existing skills, resilience, and unique qualities. You'll learn to recognize your own power, celebrate your successes, and use your personal strengths as a foundation for growth and lasting change. This collaborative process is about empowering you to create a fulfilling life that aligns with your true potential.
