Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you—not just the challenges you're facing, but also your strengths, values, and what brings you to therapy now. For individuals, we’ll talk through your current concerns, your goals, and your hopes for change. For couples, I’ll help create a safe, balanced space where each partner can share their experience and begin identifying areas where you feel stuck. The first session is also a chance for us to begin building trust. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental atmosphere where you’re met with curiosity, not pressure. I’ll share a bit about how I work, and we’ll collaborate on what feels most supportive for you moving forward—whether that’s exploring deeper emotional patterns, building practical tools, or both.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Expertise in working with clients that experience mood concerns, anxiety, trauma , women issues, and relationship concerns. My specialization to helping clients heal from divorce, break-ups, and relationship concerns.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients that work well with my approach tend to need a direct and action oriented process. Through the usage of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy interventions and other somatic practices, we will work together to identify the underlying subjective beliefs, core values, etc. to address problematic areas that need to be addressed in one s life. Clients will be successful if they are open and willing to make the changes necessary to see improvement and healing. The goal is to accept and begin making the necessary changes to have a more fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

As a mental health therapist specializing in anxiety, my approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and evidence-based interventions. I recognize that anxiety can manifest in various forms and impact individuals differently, so I tailor my treatment approach to meet the unique needs of each client. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their anxiety triggers, develop coping skills, and regain a sense of control over their lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), where I help clients embrace their thoughts and emotions without judgment while guiding them to take meaningful actions aligned with their values. I support individuals in developing psychological flexibility, empowering them to break free from negative patterns and live more authentically. Together, we work to acknowledge difficult emotions, reframe limiting beliefs, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-compassion, allowing clients to move toward healing and fulfillment.

Integrative

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Jungian theory, and subconscious reprogramming strategies. I help clients gain insight into their inner world by exploring the subconscious patterns and core beliefs that influence their thoughts and behaviors. Using ACT, I guide clients in accepting difficult emotions while aligning their actions with core values. CBT allows us to challenge and reframe limiting thoughts, while IFS helps clients connect with different parts of themselves, fostering internal harmony. Through Jungian theory and narrative work, we explore archetypal patterns and life stories to facilitate deeper healing and transformation. My aim is to support clients in reprogramming limiting beliefs, cultivating self-compassion, and creating meaningful change in their lives.
