You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I’m a bilingual, first-generation Latina and Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy is a place to feel understood, gain clarity, and reconnect with your strengths. My practice offers a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and explore what matters most to you. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, build practical tools, and create meaningful change that supports the life and relationships you want.
Starting therapy can feel exciting, overwhelming, or a little intimidating and that’s okay. Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss what you’re experiencing, what you hope to change, and what support you may need. I may ask about your background, relationships, and current life experiences to better understand your needs. You can share only what you feel comfortable sharing. You’ll also have time to ask questions and learn more about how I work. Together, we’ll identify your goals and create a plan that fits your needs. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We’ll take it one step at a time, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and relationship-centered. I believe our experiences, relationships, and culture shape how we see ourselves and respond to life’s challenges. I honor each client’s unique story while recognizing the importance of family, community, and the impact of systemic barriers. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in community mental health and forensic settings. I support clients facing trauma, anxiety, depression, severe mental health concerns, relationship challenges, and major life changes. My training in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health has also strengthened my understanding of attachment and the lasting impact of early relationships. I bring empathy, curiosity, and cultural humility to my work. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, build healthy coping skills and relationships, and create a life that reflects who they are and what matters most to them.
I work with adults ages 18 and older from all backgrounds who are seeking support, healing, and personal growth. Whether you're beginning therapy for the first time or returning after previous experiences, I welcome you just as you are. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, or difficulties with self-esteem and emotional regulation. Others come to therapy seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, hoping to break long standing patterns, heal from childhood experiences, or build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Whether your goal is healing from the past, navigating the present, or creating the future you envision, I look forward to working alongside you as you move toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and well-being.

I primarily utilize psychodynamic therapy to help clients understand how unconscious processes, childhood experiences, and attachment patterns continue to shape present-day thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Together, we explore these longstanding patterns to promote greater self-awareness and support healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and emotional distress.
I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients in exploring ambivalence, strengthening intrinsic motivation, and making meaningful, values-driven changes.
I incorporate attachment-based interventions, psychoeducation, mindfulness, emotional regulation strategies, and strengths-based practices into treatment. Every client's journey is unique, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to honor each person's experiences, values, culture, and goals. My goal is to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship that fosters safety, resilience, self-understanding, and lasting emotional well-being.
