New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience providing compassionate, trauma-informed mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, emotional challenges, and relationship difficulties while creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic space. My approach is strengths-based, culturally responsive, and centered on helping clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change in their daily lives.
During our first session, clients can expect a supportive space to begin sharing their story, concerns, and goals for therapy. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, personal strengths, and any important background information that may help guide treatment. The first session is also an opportunity for us to get to know each other, review confidentiality and the therapy process, and answer any questions you may have. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable, heard, and supported while we begin building a collaborative plan tailored to their individual needs and goals.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to create a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. I use a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach that recognizes each client’s unique experiences while helping them build practical coping skills, emotional insight, and resilience. My background working across a variety of mental health setting has strengthened my ability to support individuals and families facing complex emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I value building authentic therapeutic relationships and helping clients create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels supportive and empowering.
Eclectic
I utilize a psychodynamic, trauma-informed approach, guiding clients as they process childhood trauma, exploring attachment style to gain insight into long-standing patterns. My practice is rooted in cultural humility, honoring each client’s unique identity, background, and lived experiences. In addition to psychodynamic therapy, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and my advanced training in NAPA Infant Mental Health. I bring a deep understanding of how early life experiences shape us. In our work, we’ll focus not only on insight and emotional healing, but also on helping you create safety and regulation within the body, helping reduce anxiety, depression, and calm overwhelming emotions.
