Hi, I’m Kaylee, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. I welcome clients of all genders and sexual orientations, helping them sort through thoughts and feelings to create meaningful change in their lives. Outside of work, I love my two dogs (Piper and Beau), hiking, going to the gym, traveling, and relaxing with a good book, which helps me stay balanced and energized to support my clients on their journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me, we’ll take time to get to know each other and discuss the structure of our work together. I’ll explain confidentiality and its limits, as well as the boundaries that help protect the counseling process and our therapeutic relationship. We’ll review my policies on cancellations and no-shows, and most importantly, we’ll talk about your goals for counseling so we can create a plan that supports your growth and well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my collaborative and personalized style. Over the past three years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, meeting each person where they are and supporting them as they navigate stressors. I prioritize open communication—if any questions, concerns, or issues arise during sessions, I want to listen and work through them with you. Together, we focus on your goals and create practical steps to help you move toward the life you want whether that is through EMDR or talk therapy.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who are seeking support with trauma, depression, or anxiety. My clients are often ready to explore their experiences, understand their emotions, and develop practical tools for coping and healing. I work with people who want a safe, supportive space to process difficult experiences, gain clarity, and make meaningful changes that improve their emotional well-being and daily life.

My treatment methods

EMDR

As an EMDR trained clinician, I utilize this treatment method to help you safely process and heal from distressing memories, trauma, or negative beliefs.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and work on practical strategies to change them, helping you feel more in control and confident in daily life.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

provide culturally sensitive therapy by honoring and respecting your unique background, identity, and experiences. I work to understand how culture, values, and life experiences shape your thoughts and feelings, and I tailor therapy to support your growth in a way that feels safe, relevant, and empowering for you.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help you explore your goals and find your own motivation for change. This approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, supporting you in making decisions that align with your values and creating lasting, positive changes in your life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and valued. Together, we focus on your experiences and strengths, helping you explore your feelings, gain insight, and make choices that support your personal growth and well-being.
