Hello & welcome! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. I have more than half a decade of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both English and Spanish. I enjoy supporting and empowering my clients through periods of distress, anxiety or depression. I believe that everyone has the potential for growth and change. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that each individual has unique strengths, experiences and challenges, and I work collaboratively with my clients to develop effective strategies to navigate those challenges, find the strength to achieve positive change and the person they would like to become.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, my objective is to make you feel comfortable telling your story. I understand the importance of providing a safe nurturing space for my clients to feel heard and understood. We will work collaboratively to gain insight into the underlying issues that may be impacting your well-being and relationships. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I think my greatest strengths as a therapist is being empathetic, compassionate and open minded. This makes it easy for me to connect with people and offer advice or help them to articulate their thoughts and feelings.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I explain my clients how thoughts play a major role in the emotional and behavioral problems. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an effective treatment approach for a range of mental and emotional health issues, including depression and anxiety. Clients are empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, sharing their experiences and concerns. Clients learn to identify and challenge cognitive distortions, replacing them with more rational and positive beliefs.
