*hablo ingles y español I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science degree in Psychology. I have more than 10 years of experience providing behavioral health services, clinical supervision, care management, and program leadership across a variety of healthcare settings, working with both children and adults. As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish, allowing me to support individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Throughout my career, I have been committed to expanding access to high-quality, person-centered behavioral healthcare and creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session, my priority is getting to know you and creating a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your personal history, current challenges, strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve. Together, we'll begin identifying what is most important to you and develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and values. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, so you can expect to be an active participant in shaping your care. My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and tailored to your unique experiences. Whether you're seeking support during a difficult time or working toward long-term personal growth, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you while building practical skills and meaningful strategies to help you achieve lasting change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that every individual has a unique story, which is why I take a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy. I meet clients where they are and tailor treatment to their specific needs, strengths, and goals by integrating evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, or other concerns, I strive to provide compassionate, culturally responsive care that fosters healing, resilience, and lasting personal growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to invest in their personal growth. They understand that taking the first step by coming to therapy is a significant achievement, but they also recognize that meaningful change requires ongoing effort. They are open to honest feedback, willing to be vulnerable, and committed to doing the work both inside and outside of our sessions. Therapy is a collaborative process, and the clients who tend to benefit most are those who are curious about themselves, open to new perspectives, and motivated to make lasting changes. You don't have to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin—you simply need a willingness to show up, be authentic, and engage in the process.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we can identify unhelpful thinking patterns and beliefs that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, or other emotional challenges. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, I help clients challenge negative thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build practical skills they can apply in their everyday lives.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their thoughts, values, and goals in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Rather than telling clients what they should do, I work collaboratively with them to uncover their own motivations for change and strengthen their confidence in taking meaningful steps forward. Many people experience mixed feelings about change, and that's a normal part of the process. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and compassionate guidance, I help clients work through ambivalence, identify barriers, and build on their existing strengths. Together, we create realistic, achievable goals that align with what matters most to them.
