About me

With over 12 years of experience as a therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life across a wide range of settings—including nonprofit organizations, hospitals, and private practice. This diverse background has deepened my understanding of the many ways people experience challenges and resilience. My passion has always been rooted in helping others grow, heal, and move toward becoming their best selves. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or just feeling stuck, I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work together toward meaningful change. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to meet you where you are—with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools to help you thrive. I look forward to connecting and supporting you on your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is all about getting to know each other. I understand how important it is to feel safe, heard, and understood—so we’ll take our time. Rather than diving straight into solutions, I focus on building a foundation of trust and rapport. This is your space, and it’s important that you feel comfortable—not just with the process, but with me as your therapist. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and any questions or concerns you might have. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—therapy is a process, and real change takes time. What matters most is that you feel supported, respected, and at ease as we begin this work together. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to show up as your full self—at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets me apart as a therapist is that I genuinely care—not just about helping you feel better, but about supporting you in living your most authentic, fulfilling life. I bring both heart and intention to the work we do together. While I use structure and proven therapeutic approaches to guide our sessions, I also believe in meeting you exactly where you are. Life isn’t always linear, and therapy doesn’t have to be either. Some days are for digging deep; other days are about simply showing up—and both are equally valuable. I also believe that healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. When it’s appropriate, I infuse humor and lightness into our work. Therapy can be a space for honesty, growth, and even a little laughter along the way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready to explore themselves more deeply and are open to making meaningful changes in their lives. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just a willingness to be curious, honest, and engaged in the process. Many of my clients come to therapy wanting to better understand who they are, break free from old patterns, and feel more aligned with their most authentic selves. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, feeling stuck, or simply seeking greater clarity and confidence, I’m here to support that journey. Therapy is not about perfection—it's about growth, self-discovery, and reclaiming your voice. If you're ready to do the inner work and step more fully into your life, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My treatment methods

EMDR

In my work with clients, I often integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a powerful and evidence-based approach that helps people heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. EMDR is especially effective for those who feel “stuck” or overwhelmed by memories, emotions, or patterns that seem hard to shift through traditional talk therapy alone. EMDR works by helping the brain reprocess painful memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge. Using gentle bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping), we help your nervous system process these experiences so they no longer feel as triggering or disruptive in your present life. This approach can be transformative for individuals dealing with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, or low self-worth. You don’t have to go into detail about your past if you’re not ready—EMDR respects your pace and readiness. My role is to create a safe, grounded space where you feel supported throughout the process.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a collaborative and goal-oriented method that focuses on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and replacing them with more balanced, realistic thoughts. Together, we’ll work to uncover how certain beliefs or habits may be contributing to your distress. I’ll guide you through strategies that can help you gain new perspectives, develop healthier coping skills, and make meaningful changes in your daily life. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or self-esteem issues, CBT offers tools that are both effective and empowering. I tailor CBT to each individual’s needs, always creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore challenges at your own pace.
