Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the District of Columbia. I have been helping people live their best lives for over 20 years. Helping people recover from the mental health and substance use concerns they experience is my passion and my life's work. I want to see you thrive and be the best version of yourself! Taking the first step to enter into therapy can feel daunting and overwhelming. Recognizing that you are taking a step to take care of such an important part of your overall health is huge. My goal is to help you tap into your strengths and find the tools that work for you to improve your overall mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will start our work together by getting to know each other in the first session to see if I am a good fit for you and your needs. We will develop our way of work and identify what you most want to achieve through your sessions. My goal is to learn who you are as an individual, and as a person in your unique environment, so we develop the plan that will best suit your needs.

Helping you sort out your thoughts and feelings so that you can gain mastery over them is one of my greatest strengths. I create a non-judgmental, person-centered space in our time together so that you can discover and enhance your internal strengths to cope with whatever life sends your way.

I enjoy helping people who are experiencing difficult thoughts and emotions related to life changes, and people struggling to manage the symptoms of anxiety and depression. Helping you discover what the unique and specific coping skills are that can help you manage difficult symptoms and feelings is important to me.
