My name is Amoreena and I specializes in working with adult individuals facing a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, substance use and recovery, trauma, relationship issues, and complex family dynamics. I offer a personalized, client-centered approach, empowering each individual as the expert in their own life. I integrate a variety of therapeutic methods tailored to meet my clients' unique needs and goals. In addition, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which I utilize to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. During our first session, we will work together collaboratively to complete an intake assessment to gather helpful information, identify reasons for starting treatment, and identifying and creating goals and a treatment plan.

I work with clients whom are experiencing anxiety symptoms, depression symptoms, life adjustment and changes, negative self thoughts, experiencing negative core beliefs, and working through and desensitizing previous traumatic experiences.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a structured psychotherapy approach designed to help people heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. I utilize EMDR therapy to assist clients with desensitizing and reprocessing previous traumatic experiences, anxiety symptoms, depression symptoms, and negative self beliefs.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a structured, short-term psychotherapy focused on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I utilize CBT throughout sessions to assist clients with identifying and challenging negative and distorted thought patterns.
Mindfulness-Based techniques assist with regulating the nervous system and decreasing anxiety and uncomfortable feelings. I teach and assist clients with exploring and identifying mindfulness techniques that work for them.
This safe space allows the client to explore their feelings, gain self-awareness, and move toward personal growth and self-acceptance.
