My style is down-to-earth, warm, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation not a clinical evaluation so from day one, I focus on building a space where you can speak freely, without fear of judgment or pressure to have it all figured out. I tailor our work entirely to your needs. No two people are the same, and no two therapy journeys should be either. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, substance use, or a major life transition, I meet you exactly where you are and adjust my approach as you grow and change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing blending techniques that are practical, evidence-based, and personalized to what works best for you. Together, we create a relaxed, open space where we can talk honestly about what has been weighing on you, explore the patterns behind it, and start to understand where they come from. But we don't stop at insight we focus on real, meaningful change. That means building practical tools and strategies you can actually use in your daily life, so that over time you begin to feel more steady, more capable, and more in control of your own story. My clients often tell me they feel understood in a way they haven't before. That matters deeply to me because feeling truly heard is where healing begins.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, to help clients identify and challenge the thought patterns that fuel anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. In our work together, I'll guide you to recognize how your thoughts shape your feelings and behaviors and help you develop more balanced, realistic ways of thinking. Sessions are collaborative and structured, often including practical exercises between appointments to build lasting skills you can use long after therapy ends.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Rather than dwelling on what's wrong, I use solution-focused techniques to help you rediscover your strengths and build on what's already working in your life. Together, we'll identify the small, concrete steps that move you toward the future you want often more quickly than you'd expect. This approach is especially helpful if you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start.

Motivational Interviewing

Change is hard and ambivalence is a normal part of the process. I use motivational interviewing to meet you exactly where you are, without judgment or pressure. Through thoughtful conversation, I help you explore your own reasons for change and tap into your personal values and goals. This approach works well for anyone navigating a difficult transition, working through substance use, or feeling uncertain about taking the next step.
