Hi there! I know for a lot of people, starting therapy or looking for a therapist can feel confusing and overwhelming. I usually tell people one, simple piece of advice from a trusted mentor....choose someone you feel safe with. And I agree with him. Choose a therapist you get that "safe feeling" with. Trust your gut. My therapy style is relaxed, warm, and intuitive. I find healing happens organically in a safe and supportive environment. Once this foundation is established, I like to offer intuitive questions, psycho-education, and clinical guidance to guide your Soul back to alignment, integrity, and joy. I am a big fan of inner child work, shadow work, self-compassion, and mindfulness.
After our first session together, you will have a better idea of what you're looking for in therapy and how we might go about moving towards it. We will use the first several sessions learning more about your story and who you are. I also take great care to build a safe relationship so that we have a strong container to work within.
As a therapist, I like to to draw from depth psychology. This looks like inner child work and shadow work. I also focus on developing mindfulness and self-compassion as support systems.
I enjoy working with highly sensitive people and empaths, new mothers & mothers-to-be, and Asian & Asian-American clients. I focus on learning more about a client's early childhood and family dynamics as well as current relationships to help illuminate patterns and areas of stuck energy.
