New to Grow
Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges. I believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward the goals that matter most to you. Whether you’re facing a major life change or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and lasting growth.
Our first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what’s been going on in your life, and what you hope to gain from our time together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and get a feel for my approach. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself as we begin working toward your goals together.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is meeting you where you are. Depending on your needs, I may simply provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. At other times, I’ll gently challenge unhelpful patterns, offer new perspectives, and help you explore solutions you may not have considered. My approach is flexible, collaborative, and tailored to support you in the way that’s most helpful for your growth and healing.
I especially enjoy working with young adults who are navigating life’s transitions and trying to figure out what’s next. Whether you’re starting a career, changing paths, adjusting to a new stage of life, or simply feeling uncertain about your direction, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Together, we’ll explore your goals, build on your strengths, and create a path forward that feels meaningful and true to you.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thinking patterns, build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways to respond to life’s challenges. My goal is to provide tools you can use both in and outside of our sessions to create meaningful, lasting change.
