About me

I work with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, trauma and the pressures of culture, immigration, and high achievement. Through my own experience in the performing arts, I have developed a deep appreciation for the body-mind connection, and I feel particularly attuned to the unique needs of the artistic and athletic communities. I strive to offer a non-judgmental and supportive environment where clients can safely express and process emotions, as I believe that an effective therapeutic relationship begins with a strong connection and trust between client and therapist. My approach to therapy is eclectic. I utilize different evidenced-based modalities based on clients' specific goals. I provide therapy in English and in Italian.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a gentle landing space to slow down and begin getting to know each other. We will explore what brings you to therapy right now, discuss your goals, and look at the unique history, including your background, culture, or creative/athletic path, that shapes your world. It is a low-pressure, collaborative conversation where we can see how it feels to work together and map out a supportive path forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I combine clinical training with real-world understanding of high-pressure environments. I help you look beyond surface symptoms to heal the root emotional patterns that keep you stuck. I bring an authentic, lived appreciation for the unique burdens of cultural expectations, intense ambition, and performance pressure. I offer a space where you can safely slow down and transform self-doubt into deep self-alignment.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My clients are often high-achieving young professionals, creatives, artists, athletes, immigrants, and first-generation adults navigating intense pressure. I work best with motivated individuals facing performance anxiety, self-doubt, and major life transitions. My clients are often struggling under the heavy burdens of familial or cultural expectations, complex identity conflicts, and relentless ambition. They want to deeply understand themselves, process past wounds, and heal root emotional patterns.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe that you are the true expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, completely judgment-free space for you to process it. In our sessions, you set the pace and choose what we focus on. I am here to listen deeply, understand your unique perspective, and support you exactly as you are. Together, we will help you reconnect with your own inner strengths, rebuild your confidence, and make the choices that feel right for your personal growth.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing as a warm, collaborative space to help you navigate life's biggest transitions and quiet the anxiety that often comes with change. Whether you are facing career shifts, academic pressure, relationship stressors, or navigating your life path we will work together to uncover your inner strengths and clarify what matters most to you. Performance anxiety and life changes can feel overwhelming, so our sessions will honor your unique pace. Together, we will gently transform that anxious energy into a clear, confident path forward, empowering you to embrace your next chapter with purpose and peace.

Psychodynamic

Sometimes the root of our current struggles lies in our past experiences and learned habits that we aren't fully aware of. In our sessions, we will look beneath the surface to understand why you might feel stuck in the same emotional or relationship patterns. By exploring your history and connecting the dots to your present life, we will uncover the 'why' behind your behaviors. This deeper self-awareness allows you to break free from old cycles, heal old wounds, and make conscious, lasting changes.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

We often say things like, 'Part of me wants to make a big change, but another part of me is terrified.' In our sessions, we treat those conflicting feelings as real 'parts' of your personality. Some of your parts might carry old stress, push you to be a perfectionist, or try to protect you by shutting down. Instead of fighting these inner voices, we will get to know them, understand what they need, and help them step back. This allows your calm, confident, and wisest self to take the lead and bring inner peace to your life.

Humanistic

I offer a warm, genuinely collaborative space focused on acceptance and empathy, where you can explore your authentic self without fear of judgment. Instead of just focusing on diagnoses or symptoms, we look at your whole personhood, tapping into your innate strengths, creativity, and capacity for growth. By focusing on the present moment and honoring your unique lived experience, I support you in uncovering your true potential and building a life that feels genuinely meaningful to you.
