Being able to help others has always been at the heart of who I am. It’s what first led me to serve in the Armed Forces, and it continues to guide my passion for this work today. Supporting people through life’s challenges isn’t just my profession it’s my purpose. No matter what you’re facing, going through, or feeling, you don’t have to face it alone. Life can bring unexpected struggles, overwhelming emotions, and life-changing events but there is always space for healing, growth, and hope. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and truly understood. My approach is warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. As your therapist, I will walk alongside you offering guidance, support, and practical tools so that together, we can build the skills and confidence you need to grow into the best version of yourself.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step and it’s completely normal to experience a mix of emotions, from nervousness to hope. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and truly welcomed from the very beginning. During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. You’ll be invited to share what’s been going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from this experience. There’s no pressure to open up all at once, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll ask some thoughtful, gentle questions to better understand your story, your challenges, and your strengths. Most importantly, I want to understand you as a whole person, not just what you’re going through. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and exploring how we can work toward them in a way that feels meaningful and supportive. I’ll also walk you through what therapy with me looks like and answer any questions you may have. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and not alone. From day one, I’ll be right there with you helping you navigate challenges, build insight, and move toward healing and growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’ve had the privilege of working with culturally diverse children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including outpatient care and partial hospitalization programs. My experience includes supporting individuals navigating suicidal ideation, anxiety, major depression, eating disorders, substance use, dual diagnoses, and post-traumatic stress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with young professionals, couples, families, and teens navigating anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My clients often struggle with communication, self-image, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. They may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck, but are motivated to create meaningful change. I support individuals and relationships in building confidence, improving communication, and developing practical tools for a more balanced and fulfilling life. I work best with clients who are open, creative, and willing to explore new ways of approaching the challenges they face.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected using the CBT model. Together, we explore patterns that may be holding them back and work to shift unhelpful thinking in a supportive, practical way. I also collaborate closely with clients to set clear, achievable goals so they can make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a supportive, team-based approach where we work together to help you create a life that feels steadier, more meaningful, and truly aligned with what matters to you. It’s not about changing who you are, it’s about helping you feel more in control, more understood, and more confident in handling whatever life brings your way.

Couples Counseling

I have extensive experience working with couples, and I create a structured, supportive space where both partners feel heard and respected. Together, we focus on strengthening your connection, navigating challenges with clarity. I help clients navigate through healthy, respectful separations while building effective co-parenting foundations.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I help clients look beyond what they’re arguing about on the surface. Together, we slow things down and gently explore what’s really happening underneath, especially the feelings that don’t always get expressed clearly, like hurt, fear, or loneliness, so those moments can lead to understanding instead of disconnection.

Family Therapy

I help families better understand how their whole system works, instead of focusing on “fixing” one person, we can work together to create real, lasting change. I support families in navigating stress, reducing arguments, and clearing up misunderstandings, while offering practical insights and education that show how everyone plays a role in the bigger picture.
