New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with teens, adults, elders, and couples. I support clients navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression with a gentle, trauma-informed approach. I focus on creating a calm, supportive space where you feel safe, respected, and heard. Together, we move at your pace and work toward healing, clarity, and meaningful change. My approach to therapy is gentle, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I meet clients where they are and move at a pace that feels safe and supportive. I focus on building trust, increasing self-awareness, and developing practical tools to help manage emotions and relationships. Therapy with me is a space for understanding, healing, and steady growth.
In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive space where we focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, what feels most important right now, and what you hope to get from our work together. I’ll explain how therapy works and answer any questions you may have. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying next steps and gentle tools to help you feel more supported moving forward.
My greatest strengths are creating a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients feel supported, respected, and understood. I am passionate about this work, and helping others heal is a core part of my purpose as a therapist. I take an easygoing, client-centered approach, working at the pace that feels right for each individual while honoring their readiness and goals. I draw from evidence-based modalities, including EMDR when appropriate, to support clients in processing difficult experiences, building emotional regulation skills, and developing healthier thought and behavior patterns. Clients often experience increased insight, reduced distress, and greater confidence in managing emotions and relationships as they move through their healing process.
I work best with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment or relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, supporting individuals in building emotional awareness, coping skills, and healthier patterns in relationships. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including EMDR when appropriate and aligned with the client’s goals, to support processing of past experiences and promote healing, resilience, and personal growth.
Attachment-based
I use Attachment-Based Therapy to help clients explore how early relationships and attachment experiences influence current emotions, relationships, and patterns of behavior. My approach focuses on building trust, emotional safety, and healthy connections to support healing, self-awareness, and stronger interpersonal relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to emotional distress. My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused on building practical coping skills to support lasting emotional and behavioral change.
EMDR
I use EMDR therapy to help clients process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences in a safe and structured way. Through guided techniques and bilateral stimulation, I support clients in reducing emotional distress, building resilience, and developing healthier beliefs and coping strategies.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients increase self-awareness, manage stress, and develop healthier responses to thoughts and emotions. I use mindfulness techniques such as grounding, breathing exercises, and present-moment awareness to support emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and promote overall well-being in a compassionate and client-centered way.
Trauma Informed Care
I use Trauma-Informed Care by creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered. My approach focuses on understanding how past experiences impact present behaviors and emotions while using collaboration, empathy, and client-centered interventions to support healing and resilience.
