My name is Martell. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) that's licensed in the states of Maryland and Georgia. I want to partner with clients to help them navigate their mental health challenges. I will work with clients regarding their treatment with medication management, other alternatives or both. Also, I'm a retired Army Veteran and would like to help fellow veterans as well with their mental health. If you're dealing with life stressors, depression or relationship issues, I'm here to help. Throughout this process I want my clients to be the drivers of their treatment. Tell me what's needed during the session so we can determine goals. Ultimately, I want my clients to reach their potential goals regarding their mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific issues you're facing. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to follow. Also, I use Genesight testing as a tool to determine which psychiatric medications that maybe effective.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I've treated clients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. I have experience with adults, adolescents and geriatrics clients in both settings. I specialize in treating clients with Mood Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, ADHD, Trauma, Substance Abuse and Dual Diagnosis.
