I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over fifteen years of experience in health care setting. When you first come in, I evaluate the current psychiatric condition, find out what triggers your symptoms. We will dig in deeper to resolve any unprocessed past trauma and unpleasant memories. Then I can guide you through how to manage your stress and fear using talk therapy and medication if needed. I will treat you with compassion and dignity so that you feel seen and heard. I speak both English and Korean fluently.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I use Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help my client to move beyond negative thoughts and feelings in a meaningful way to live their lives fully.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to teach my client how to manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and increase distress tolerance.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
We will explore your life stories and find out your core belief and sort out any unheathy thoughts. We will examine how to replace unhealthy thoughts to healthy ones to improve your mental health.
