I'm a licensed therapist with a focus on helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, OCD, depression, and trauma. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness techniques to empower clients to overcome their challenges. My goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can develop coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful change in your life. Together, we’ll work towards your personal growth and emotional well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and non-judgmental space where we begin by exploring what brings them to therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand their concerns, goals, and personal history, including past experiences with mental health or relationships. This session is also an opportunity for clients to share any immediate challenges or symptoms they’re experiencing, whether it’s anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. I’ll explain my therapeutic approach, how I typically work with clients, and answer any questions about the process. Together, we’ll start to outline goals for therapy and discuss potential strategies or tools that may be helpful moving forward. The first session is about building rapport and creating a comfortable environment for you to express yourself openly.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my empathy and active listening skills, which create a safe and supportive environment for clients to express themselves openly. I utilize evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness practices, tailoring these techniques to meet each client's unique needs. My cultural competence allows me to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, respecting and incorporating their individual perspectives into the therapeutic process. I am also flexible and adaptable, adjusting my methods based on client feedback and progress to ensure therapy remains relevant and effective. Above all, I am deeply committed to empowering clients to develop coping skills, increase self-awareness, and achieve their personal goals, fostering resilience and independence throughout their mental health journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals and couples dealing with anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges. I work well with clients who are ready to explore their thoughts, behaviors, and communication patterns, and who are open to evidence-based therapeutic techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness practices. For couples, I focus on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering emotional connection to strengthen the relationship. Whether you're facing individual or relationship challenges, I can support you in developing effective coping strategies, improving communication, and achieving personal growth. I also have experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds and tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client or couple.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use CBT to help clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. I work with clients to develop more adaptive ways of thinking and responding to difficult situations.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

In my practice, I use ERP by helping clients gradually face their fears while teaching them how to tolerate the anxiety without performing rituals or avoidance behaviors.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In practice, I integrate mindfulness by guiding clients to develop awareness of their inner experiences and teaching them to observe these without becoming overwhelmed or reacting impulsively. I find mindfulness particularly beneficial for clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional dysregulation.
