One of the most important components of therapy is the relationship and connection between the client and therapist. As a therapist, I pride myself on providing a safe and open environment for clients. I show up authentically so that my clients can as well. As a member of the queer and neurodivergent community, I know the importance of having an open and affirming space. As a therapist my goal is to help people help themselves. You are the expert on you, and sometimes our own thoughts or experiences can get in the way of being the best version of ourselves. Everyone shows up in this world differently and for many of us the spaces we grew up in and live in can shape that. Therapy can be about understanding the past, as well as paving the way forward. Breaking generational trauma, understanding attachment, learning to cope, and building on resiliency to create the life you want. My framework for therapy is person centered, solution focused, and trauma informed. Each client's goals are unique and therefore we will work together to create a plan for how to reach these goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and there's no pressure to share everything all at once. Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what brought you here. We will talk about what's been feeling challenging, what's important to you, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. You're welcome to ask questions, let me know what helps you feel comfortable, and share any preferences or accommodations that support you. My goal is to create a collaborative and affirming space where your identities, experiences, and way of moving through the world are respected, so we can build a plan that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring authenticity, warmth, and curiosity to every session. I believe healing happens through a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, and free to be yourself. I approach our work as a collaboration, honoring your lived experience and exploring challenges with compassion rather than criticism. My goal is to create an affirming space where you can better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help people handle difficult thoughts and emotions in a healthier way rather than fighting or avoiding them. Together we will focus on building skills to help you stay present and make choices that reflect your values.

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach to explore how your relationship experiences shape the way you connect with yourself and others, helping you build healthier secure relationships.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in a neurodiversity-affirming way to help clients build practical skills for managing emotions, coping with stress, improving relationships, and navigating daily challenges while honoring their unique strengths and needs.

Gender-affirming therapy

My gender-affirming approach centers your lived experience. Providing compassionate support as you explore your identity and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

Somatic

I integrate somatic practices to help regulate the nervous system, process difficult experiences, and build a greater sense of balance, resilience, and well-being at a pace that feels right for you.
