I believe that therapy is about creating new patterns in our brains, forming insight, building connections, learning to trust ourselves and accruing skills to move toward a new way of being. I am trained in Exposure Response Prevention Therapy which is the gold standard treatment method for individuals with OCD and rumination based anxiety. I utilize empathy, active listening and gentle challenging to create a therapeutic alliance and change within the lives of my clients. Connection is key and I prioritize the therapeutic relationship above all else!
I have experience working with individuals from all walks of life and I have worked extensively with adults, college students and teens providing both therapy and advocacy for my clients.
