Hi, I'm a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I understand that reach out for support can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. My approach is rooted in strength based and mindfulness practices helping clients build on what's already working while developing practical tools to manage stress anxiety and everyday challenges. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, empowering, and tailored to your unique needs.
In our first session we'll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation for our work together. I'll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you're hoping to gain from the process. We'll also review any relevant background information and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. This is a space for you to share at your own pace, there's no pressure to have everything figured out right away. By the end of the session, you can respect to have a clearer sense of how I work, feel more comfortable, and begin outlining a plan for moving forward together.
I believe one of my biggest strengths is my ability to truly connect with people and meet them where they are. I create a space that feels supportive, real, and free of judgement, which allows clients to open up at their own pace. What makes me unique is that I combine a warm down to earth style with practical guidance. I help clients not only process what they're going through, but also walk away with tools they can actually use in their everyday lives. My goal is to help you feel understood while also helping you to move forward.
I am best positioned to work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I particularly enjoy supporting adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected and are looking to regain a sense of balance and clarity in their lives. My ideal clients are motivated for change but may not know where to start. They often value a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can explore their thoughts and emotions openly while building practical tools to manage daily stressors. I use a strength based and mindfulness informed approach to help clients increase self awareness, improve coping skills, and develop healthier patterns. I work well with individuals who are ready to engage in the therapeutic process and are open to learning new ways of thinking and responding to challenges.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I help clients learn how to slow down, become more aware of their thoughts and emotions and respond to life on a more intentional way rather than reacting automatically. Mindfulness is about paying attention to the present moment without judgement. Together we work on building awareness of patterns like overthinking anxiety or emotional overwhelm, and creating space to respond with more clarity and self compassion.
Strength-Based
I focus on helping you recognize and build on the strengths you already have, even if they don't feel obvious right now. Rather than only focusing on problems or what's wrong we work together to identify your resilience skills values and past successes and use those as a foundation for growth and healing
