Hello, my name is Keisha Gordon-Primus FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC. I am a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience. My practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care for adults age 18 and older. I believe in meeting each client where they are, with compassion, education, and evidence-based care. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and equipped with the tools you need to reclaim your life and move forward with confidence.
During your first visit, we will spend about 60 minutes together in a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This session is designed to give me a clear understanding of your mental health concerns, current symptoms, medical and personal history, and overall functioning. Together, we’ll explore what brings you to care, identify your goals, and begin forming a collaborative plan to support your well-being. We’ll discuss a working diagnosis — which may evolve as we learn more — and outline a personalized treatment approach that may include medication management, therapy, coping strategies, lifestyle modifications, or a combination of these. My goal is to ensure that you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in each step of the process. From day one, we will work as a team to create a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs and focused on improving your quality of life.
I believe in a holistic, client-centered model that integrates physical and mental health. My dual certification allows me to consider the full spectrum of wellness—from medical conditions that may influence mood and cognition, to psychiatric interventions that promote balance and resilience. Each treatment plan is individualized and may include medication management, therapy recommendations, coping skills, and lifestyle strategies.
Expertise in both primary care and psychiatry, bridging the gap between mind and body. Commitment to trauma-informed, stigma-free care. Strong communication and collaboration with clients, families, and other providers. Focus on empowering clients to better understand their diagnoses and feel confident in their treatment. Whether you are navigating attention difficulties, experiencing perinatal mood changes, or facing the challenges of aging, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where healing and growth are possible.

We start treatment with a 60-minute psychiatric evaluation, followed by psychoeducation, brief psychotherapy, and medication management. I provide information and support to help my clients better understand and cope with illness.
