I am a doctoral prepared psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. My experience is broad in treating a range of psychiatric disorders including major depressive disorder, mood disorder, anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, ADD/ADHD, sleep disorders, substance abuse and psychotic disorders.
First session
Patient's initial evaluation with me will includes a comprehensive assessment of your present symptoms, medical history, family history and a treatment plan that is suitable for you. My approach to patient care is to respect each patient’s values, preferences and expressed needs. You will feel safe, accepted, welcomed, respected, and relatively comfortable during the initial visit and subsequent visits thereafter.
