Hi! I'm a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMNNP) based in Hollywood, Florida. I received my post Masters and doctoral degree from Wilkes University and have been practicing for over 20 years. I provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services at Remart Medical Consultant Inc., launched in June 2020. I work in coordination with the clinic to offer psychiatric services to adult and youth clients with behavioral health issues. This position is supervised externally by a psychiatrist, with whom a collaborative practice agreement is established. Services are office-based, and I also provide telehealth-based services to clients in remote locations.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first visit together, we'll start with brief introductions and an initial psychiatric evaluation, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up evaluation.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with patients across the lifespan for over 20 years, I have developed a tried-and-true relationship for helping clients identify the root cause of their challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My clients are eager to improve but still need the tools to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious about their mental state.

My treatment methods

Compassion Focused

I use a therapeutic approach to help those who struggle with shame and self-criticism and teach them to cultivate the skills of self-compassion and other-oriented compassion, which are thought to help regulate mood and lead to feelings of safety, self-acceptance, and comfort.
