New to Grow
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and founder of Time to Renew You, a therapy practice grounded in respect, compassion, and intentional healing. I support children, teens, young adults, and adults who may be navigating anxiety, overwhelm, emotional regulation challenges, ADHD/Autism-related needs, self-esteem concerns, school or work stress, relationship stress, and life transitions. My approach is calm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe therapy should feel supportive, human, and practical while also creating space for deeper reflection and meaningful growth. I work best with clients who are open to building self-awareness, learning coping tools, and understanding how their thoughts, emotions, nervous system, environment, and relationships may be impacting their well-being. My goal is to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to reconnect with themselves, strengthen emotional balance, and move forward in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
Our first session is focused on getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from the process. We will talk about your current concerns, your background, your strengths, and any goals you may already have in mind. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. My approach is calm, collaborative, and supportive. I may ask questions about your symptoms, stressors, relationships, coping skills, and what has or has not helped in the past. We will also discuss what therapy may look like moving forward, including treatment goals, session frequency, and the types of tools or approaches that may be helpful for you. The first session is also a chance for you to get a feel for whether I am the right fit. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, heard, and not judged.
One of my greatest strengths is creating a calm, grounded, and supportive space where clients can feel safe slowing down and being honest about what they are experiencing. I take an individualized approach and work collaboratively with each client instead of using a one-size-fits-all model. I integrate practical coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, mindfulness, CBT, DBT-informed tools, and mind-body awareness to help clients better understand themselves and manage daily stressors. I also bring experience working with children, teens, adults, parents, and neurodivergent clients, including individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, Autism-related needs, school stress, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. My work is grounded in respect, compassion, and intentional healing. I aim to help clients build insight, strengthen confidence, regulate emotions, and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
Time to Renew You is a space grounded in respect, compassion, and intentional healing. I work best with clients who are open to growth, collaboration, and building a supportive therapeutic relationship. I am best positioned to support children, teens, young adults, and adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, overstimulated, emotionally drained, or disconnected from themselves and want a steady space to slow down and make sense of what they are experiencing. I often work with clients navigating anxiety, ADHD, Autism-related needs, emotional regulation challenges, school or work stress, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship stress, or difficulty feeling grounded in daily life. My ideal clients are not expected to have everything figured out before starting therapy. They may feel stuck, unsure where to begin, or tired of constantly pushing through. I work well with clients who are open to building insight, learning practical coping tools, strengthening self-awareness, and exploring how their thoughts, emotions, nervous system, environment, and relationships may be impacting their well-being. My approach is calming, collaborative, individualized, and practical, while still allowing space for deeper reflection, emotional processing, and meaningful growth.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps us look at how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. In sessions, we may identify patterns that are keeping you stuck and work together to build practical tools that support more balance, clarity, and confidence.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT-informed therapy can help you build skills for managing big emotions, calming your nervous system, tolerating stress, and responding more intentionally instead of feeling controlled by the moment.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness helps you pause, notice what is happening internally, and respond with more awareness. In therapy, we may use grounding, breathing, or present-moment strategies to help you feel more centered and less overwhelmed.
Somatic
Somatic therapy helps you understand how emotions and stress can show up in the body. We may use gentle body-awareness or grounding practices to support calm, emotional balance, and nervous system regulation.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing helps you explore what matters to you, where you feel stuck, and what changes feel realistic. The goal is not pressure, but helping you move toward choices that feel aligned and manageable.
