Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps us identify how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll recognize unhelpful patterns, challenge thoughts that may no longer be serving you, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS helps us to look at the parts of ourselves like our own internal family system. IFS helps us understand the different parts of ourselves that influence how we think, feel, and respond to life’s challenges. Rather than fighting these parts, we’ll approach them with curiosity to better understand their purpose, reduce inner conflict, and foster greater emotional balance and resilience.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT helps you develop practical skills to manage intense emotions, cope with stress, improve relationships, and stay present in the moment. I incorporate DBT strategies to help you respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively, while balancing acceptance of where you are with working toward meaningful change.
Mind-body approach
Mental and physical health are deeply connected. I take a whole-person approach by exploring how stress, emotions, nervous system responses, sleep, movement, nutrition, and other lifestyle factors may influence your mental well-being. Together, we’ll develop strategies that support both your emotional and physical health.
Narrative
The meaning we give to our experiences influences how we view ourselves and the choices we make. I use narrative therapy to help you explore your personal story with curiosity, recognize that you are more than the challenges you face, and build a narrative that reflects your strengths, resilience, and values.
