Hello, I'm Claudia Estrada, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) providing therapy in English and Spanish since 2013. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and self-esteem concerns. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered techniques to help clients build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful, lasting change.
During our first session together, we'll begin with brief introductions, discuss what you can expect from therapy, and review the legal and ethical aspects of the therapeutic process, including confidentiality and informed consent. We'll then explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your current concerns, and begin identifying your goals so we can develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. Our first session is also an opportunity to build rapport and establish a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, and I view us as a team. Together, we will create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work toward your goals and ongoing growth.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and personalized because I recognize that every individual brings unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be themselves and explore difficult emotions at their own pace. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to each client's goals while incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered techniques. As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and understand the importance of cultural identity and lived experiences in the healing process. I believe meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. My goal is not only to help clients navigate their current challenges but also to equip them with practical tools and lasting skills that foster resilience, confidence, and long-term emotional well-being.
I am best positioned to work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are ready to better understand themselves, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful change. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, grief, and difficulties with emotional regulation. I also enjoy supporting individuals who are navigating family or cultural expectations, identity development, and major life changes. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult season or looking to build healthier coping skills and improve your overall well-being, I provide a compassionate and collaborative space where you can feel heard and supported. My approach is especially beneficial for clients who are motivated to develop greater self-awareness, strengthen their resilience, improve relationships, and learn practical strategies they can apply in their everyday lives. As a bilingual therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to offer culturally responsive care that honors each client's unique background and lived experiences.

I have been using CBT in my practice since the start of my career. I use CBT in practice to help my clients have more control over. Their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. CBT helps my clients be more aware and challenge their automatic thoughts and think in more helpful and rational ways.
I use grief therapy in my practice to help my clients understand their own grief process by processing and talking about their loss, normalizing their feelings, understanding their emotions, developing coping strategies, and understanding grief cycles.
I have been using Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) for over 5 years in my practice with clients. SFT is a short-term therapy that I use in my practice to help my clients find solutions to their problems by focusing on goal setting, strengths to best approach and overcome the current problem at hand.
I have been working with children and adolescents since 2013. When working with children and adolescents I utilize play therapy especially when they are having a hard time expressing their feelings/emotions. Play therapy makes it easier for them to be able to express their thoughts and feelings.
Psycho-education is a key step and component to the therapy process. Clients need to learn and be aware of their own struggles and what the best approach is to help them best approach their mental health struggle.
