New to Grow
With a focus on acceptance, self-awareness and a strength-based approach we can identify strategies to address challenges of anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, family conflict, stress management and low self-worth. We’ll work together to help you break negative thought patterns and make room for effective habits and positive growth. I aim to provide a therapeutic environment that is supportive, healing, collaborative, trauma informed, and judgement free. I have 20 years of experience as a mental health professional where I’ve developed strong therapeutic skills as a clinical counselor. I’ve also lead multi-disciplinary treatment teams for both inpatient and outpatient settings. My roles have included Clinical Counselor, Director of Clinical Services and leadership roles in a corporate health care setting. I believe that each individual has a unique set of life experiences and treatment should be custom tailored to empower them help meet their personal needs. I am passionate about my work with a diverse client base which includes adults, teens (15 & older), business professionals dealing with job related stress, and those just trying to navigate through everyday challenges. I value confidentiality to help clients feel more confident and comfortable with treatment.
During our first session I aim to further introduce myself and get to know you better with a focus on what you would like to accomplish in therapy.
I bring a diverse set of clinical experience to session s with a person-centered approach. I treat clients as unique individuals rather than applying textbook statements and assumptions to life challenges.
Willing to work with clients in any stage of acceptance in their therapy journey & needs. I aim to meet clients at their comfort zone but will encourage them to do some searching to work on exploring new options to existing problems and concerns. An ideal client is open to the idea of therapy as a way to grow and accomplish new goals.
Work with clients to understand how experiences and thoughts impact feelings and behaviors to help break unhelpful patterns.
