I'm Jeré and I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a great passion for comprehensive and patient-centered care. As a psychiatric Nurse practitioner, I diagnose and treat a multitude of mental health disorders. I take pride in utilizing a variety of strategies/ techniques to treat the patient as a whole; as I believe treatment for mental health is beyond medication management alone.
Clients can expect to get a detailed initial evaluation where we will attempt to get to the root cause of the mental health illness, and not just aiming to treat a symptom.
As a provider my greatest strength is my ability to make my clients feel comfortable sharing their struggles with mental health. I also take pride in providing my patients with education needed for them to make decisions in their. care.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, the primary focus of my work with clients is medication management and diagnosis. However, I do implement psychotherapy during each session. Typically the type of therapy implemented is CBT and solution-focused therapy. This does not replace the need for clients to see a primary therapist regularly; as the combination of psychiatry and therapy allows for optimal mental health outcomes.
