Welcome! You have taken the first step in improving how you feel. I am someone who is passionate about helping others. All of us can improve how we feel and think and sometimes it takes just a comfortable space to expand our thinking. I have been a therapist for over four years but have been in a behavioral health role for over 20 years. Together we will find ways to improve your mental health.
In our first session together, we'll start to build rapport and make sure that we are both a fit for each other. I will jump into what led you to therapy and what goals you hope to accomplish. I will create a plan for us to work together toward a common goal.
I work hard to make the client feel comfortable and go at a pace that works well for them. This is your journey and I know when to push forward and when to ease up. Creating a plan with measurable progress will help us to see the success of your work.
I love working with those who are over age 13 and are having challenges with what life can bring. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their life and themselves.
Helping the client connect with what they are feeling and thinking and how that is in turn affecting their behavior. By how we think, we can adjust how we feel and behave.
