About me

I believe meaningful healing begins when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood—without judgment or pressure to be anyone other than yourself. I work with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, stuck in familiar patterns, or as though they are constantly trying to navigate a world that was not designed with their needs in mind. This may include living with the effects of trauma, the daily “static” of ADHD, persistent anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or emotional exhaustion. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). I also hold diagnostic privilege and have experience providing clinical supervision to Limited Permit clinicians working toward completion of their required hours. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe in meeting you where you are while also helping you move toward where you would like to be. Together, we may focus on developing practical coping tools, understanding emotional and behavioral patterns, strengthening relationships, processing difficult experiences, and creating changes that feel realistic and meaningful for your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session may feel a little different from the sessions that follow. I will take time to understand the different areas of your life, what brought you to therapy, and how your current concerns have been affecting you. My goal is to see the whole picture—not simply a list of symptoms. We will also begin identifying your goals for therapy and developing a treatment plan that gives our work direction while remaining flexible as your needs evolve. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what your goals should be. We will work together to put your experiences, needs, and hopes into words. After the initial session, our work will continue to be highly collaborative. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to offer support, insight, honest feedback, and practical tools that can help you better understand yourself and move toward the life you want to create.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Genuineness is one of the most important qualities I bring into the therapeutic relationship. I want clients to feel that they can be honest, ask questions, express frustration, and show up as their full selves without fear of being judged. I am warm and compassionate, while also being active and engaged in the therapy process. I will not simply sit back and expect you to figure everything out alone. I help clients identify patterns, make connections, practice new skills, and translate insight into meaningful action. My professional experiences have reinforced the importance of treating every person as an individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I also believe there is room for appropriate humor in therapy. Even while working through painful or difficult experiences, moments of warmth, authenticity, and connection can be deeply healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. You may not even know exactly what needs to change—you may simply know that something no longer feels sustainable. I work especially well with clients who are curious about themselves and willing to participate in the therapeutic process, even when change feels uncomfortable or uncertain. You do not have to be perfectly motivated or consistently confident. A willingness to show up, be honest, and take small steps toward yourself is enough to begin.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy helps clients understand how past and present relationships may influence anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trust, boundaries, and patterns of connection. I help clients recognize these patterns and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and the people who matter to them.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how earlier relationships and life experiences may influence the way they see themselves, respond to others, and cope with stress today. This can be especially helpful for clients with anxiety, depression, or ADHD who may have experienced repeated criticism, rejection, misunderstanding, or difficulty feeling accepted. Together, we identify patterns such as people-pleasing, fear of abandonment, reassurance-seeking, shutting down, or sensitivity to rejection, while building healthier ways of communicating, setting boundaries, regulating emotions, and developing a more secure sense of self. For clients with ADHD, I may also incorporate CBT and DBT strategies to address negative self-talk, procrastination, overwhelm, impulsivity, emotional regulation, organization, and follow-through. The goal is to understand both what is happening now and what may be underneath it, while developing practical tools that fit the client's everyday life.
