Are you struggling with anxiety, trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break? Maybe you're living with chronic worry, trying to keep it all together, or using substances to numb the pain. You don’t have to carry it alone. I'm a trauma therapist who offers a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where your story can unfold at your own pace. Healing begins when we feel truly seen and heard—and I’m here to help you reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity, and self-trust.
The first session is about connection and comfort. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your hopes for our work together, and begin to explore your story—at whatever pace feels right to you. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, but there’s no pressure to dive into anything you’re not ready for. You can expect warmth, curiosity, and collaboration from the very start.
I’m deeply grounded in empathy and presence. Clients often say they feel truly seen and heard with me. I have a strong ability to help people explore their experiences with gentleness while staying focused on the root causes of what’s holding them back. I also integrate a wide range of therapeutic approaches, allowing me to tailor each session to what works best for you.
I work best with individuals who are ready to explore the deeper roots of their challenges—whether that’s trauma, anxiety, or substance use. Many of my clients are seeking to understand long-standing patterns, process painful experiences, and feel more grounded in their daily lives. My approach is person-centered, meaning our work is guided by your goals and what feels meaningful to you. I integrate a range of evidence-based methods to support you in understanding the deeper emotional roots of your struggles—not just managing the symptoms.
In this method, I work with you to uncover the roots of your challenges, explore the beliefs shaped by past experiences, and reframe unhelpful thoughts to foster healthier self-talk
This method is used primarily in substance use disorders, and helps with ambivalence with sobriety and meeting goals.
Trauma will change how we view the world, and I always assess for trauma in any client's story.
This is an evidenced based treatment for trauma and PTSD. This can reduce symptoms such as flashbacks, anxiety, and emotional reactivity, enabling clients to move forward with greater resilience and psychological stability. EMDR is a great choice because it can produce significant results in fewer sessions compared to traditional talk therapy, especially when trauma is the primary concern. The great thing about EMDR--you don't have to share all the details of your trauma, which can for some clients, be retraumatizing in itself.
I use this method to help client build their resources within themselves, of what is working well, what is helping, and focusing on your natural strengths.
