Hi! I'm Carly. Do you ever find yourself stuck in a cycle, able to see options but making the same choice over and over? Is it hard to be patient and kind to yourself? I help individuals notice behavior patterns and make space for difficult thoughts and feelings. Together, we can work on changing the relationship you have to your thoughts, instead of falling into a cycle of hopelessness or judgment. I use a variety of interventions to better help you connect to what's meaningful, instead of getting stuck in your thoughts and fears. Finding a therapist who supports you in setting and working toward your goals can be daunting and at times, overwhelming. I'm here to help you learn more about yourself and make meaningful changes in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session together will be a full intake. This is where I will ask you questions about your current situation, symptoms, goals and challenges. Gathering information about your past experiences, relationships and wants allows me to get a full picture of who you are and what makes you unique.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My warmth and genuineness are two of my biggest strengths. Clients know when they work with me that they are seen, heard and respected. I am direct and approachable in my work and my clients know that working with me means making space for a lot of self-compassion and self-kindness.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Life transitions, General stress, Depression, Anxiety, Substance Use, Relationship issues, Ethical/Consensual Non-Monogamy, Grief/Loss, Self-Esteem, Trauma
