(she/they)
Hi, I'm Niki! My pronouns are she/they. If you find yourself struggling with patterns of people-pleasing, not feeling satisfied with life, difficulty in relationships, or never feeling good enough, I'm here to help! I have experience helping adults heal from interpersonal/relational trauma, overcoming depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I have training in Schema Therapy (ST), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Inference-based CBT (I-CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP/EXRP).
In our first session together, we'll start with introductions and discuss some important things like informed consent and what brought you to therapy. First sessions are also a good opportunity for us to start getting to know each other and see if we would be a good fit to work together moving forward!
I specialize in helping people heal from interpersonal/relational trauma. I also have in-depth knowledge of LGBTQIA+ issues.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, HAES/fat liberationist, poly-friendly, sex positive, and kink-aware. I am committed to social justice-oriented, intersectional, and anti-racist perspectives.

Schema Therapy
Schema therapy is an integrative psychotherapy combining theory and techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, object relations theory, attachment theory, and Gestalt therapy. By understanding unmet needs from childhood and adolescence, we can better understand what schemas and core beliefs we've developed (like abandonment, defectiveness, social isolation, failure, etc.) and start working together to heal them.
Daialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT is largely about building skill to help with things like emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

I am disabled, neurodivergent and have been in therapy for a long time. I'm at a place where I don't need advice or strategies; I need someone to listen to me as I process my day, my feelings, my interactions with complicated relationships. Nikki is thoughtful and has a good memory for my concerns. I know that when I meet with her I'll feel better, even if nothing gets "resolved" that day. She's always encouraging about my abilities and reminds me to think positively of myself.
